About Peppino’s Food
Peppino’s Food Inc. was founded in 2000 by brothers Giuseppe and Salvatore Guttilla. Born in Sicily, Giuseppe, who goes by the name of Peppino, came to the United States in 1988 working in a similar line of work. With a vast knowledge of good food and business he wanted to fulfill the “American dream”.
Later, Salvatore, who goes by Salvo, joined him in America. Together, with a van and a small garage, they started their family company.
After 12 years of success tragedy struck. Salvo was in an accident and passed away. After Salvo’s passing, his wife Enza took on his role. She helped lead the company for 9 years and retired at the end of 2021.
In 2021 Giuseppe’s Oldest son Carlo joined the Management team. He is excited to help improve the company.
With about 40 dedicated employees, we are a leading distributor in the Hudson valley region and our neighboring states. We pride ourselves in carrying thousands of quality products and insuring customer service while keeping Peppino’s food Inc. a family company.
